The Management of Peninsular Petrotech Engineering W.L.L (PPE) is committed to the development, implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of an Integrated Management System in line with the requirements of the internationally recognized standards of the Quality Management System – ISO 9001:2008, the Occupational Health & Safety Management System–OHSAS 18001:2007 and the Environmental Management System – ISO 14001:2004, for its products and services as identified in the scope of operations; including those it has or can have influence upon, with the following corporate Objectives, which shall be realized by setting and achieving SMART Objectives at various functions and levels:
- To provide quality products and services that meet customers’ need expectations by complying with the requirements of Specifications, Codes and Standards as contractually agreed as well as any applicable Statutory and Regulatory requirements.
- To prevent injury to & ill health of personnel and to protect from damages the property & products involved with its scope of operations by ensuring safe work practices, a healthy & safe work environment and by complying with the currently applicable legal & other specified requirements relevant to OH&S management.
- To preserve the flora & fauna, conserve resources and prevent environmental pollution relevant to its scope of operations by operating in an environmentally friendly manner and by complying with currently applicable legal and other specified requirements relevant to environmental management.
- To continually improve its performance in Quality, Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Management Systems by conducting periodic reviews and self-assessment of the IMS, Policies and Objectives for continuing suitability and effectiveness.
The policy shall be communicated to all employees, persons & organizations working for or on behalf of PPE through Induction Training, Awareness Training, Hand Outs and Display Notices as appropriate. All the above mentioned personnel/ parties are required to understand this policy and participate actively in the development, implementation and continual improvement of IMS.
This policy shall be made available to any interested party or public upon request.
